About SportsBug
Built by the team that
helped launch Broadcast.com
SportsBug is a fan engagement company whose first product happens to be synchronized audio. The people behind it have been putting live audio on the internet since the internet learned to carry it.
The story
A compromise fans stopped noticing
Fans at live games face a trade they were never asked to make. They get the atmosphere of the building but lose the trusted voices of their local broadcasters, because digital radio arrives seconds behind the action. For decades that disconnect was treated as unavoidable.
SportsBug's founders saw it differently. The problem was never the broadcast. It was the delivery. If audio could be synchronized to the live event over modern mobile networks, fans could have both: the stadium and the announcers.
Early development proved the technology in the hardest environment available, a packed venue on game day. The University of Oregon deployment with Learfield validated it in major collegiate athletics and was renewed. The New York Mets launch put it inside the MLB Ballpark ecosystem at Citi Field. The platform is now expanding from in-venue listening toward in-home synchronization, advertising, sponsorship, and premium content.
Transform how fans experience live sports through synchronized, real-time audio that deepens engagement, strengthens the bond with local broadcasters, and creates new revenue for our partners.
Become the global standard for synchronized sports audio, wherever fans experience the game: in the stadium, at home, or anywhere in the world.

How we operate
Values that survive game day
- Reliability. Live sports allow no second take. The technology performs when every second matters.
- Partner success. We measure ourselves by the value created for teams, schools, leagues, and broadcasters.
- Fan obsession. Every product decision starts with the fan experience.
- Integrity. Long-term relationships through honesty, transparency, and accountability.
Put the broadcast back in the building
One conversation is enough to scope a deployment. No venue hardware, live in weeks.
