New York Mets partner with Audacy and SportsBug for real-time radio at Citi Field
Beginning Opening Day 2026, fans inside Citi Field can listen to the Mets Radio play-by-play broadcast, featuring Howie Rose, Keith Raad, and Pat McCarthy, in sync with the live action, through the MLB Ballpark app. SportsBug's technology reduces the typical 30-to-90-second digital audio delay to under one second.
Learfield and SportsBug launch no-delay radio streaming at the University of Oregon
Learfield partnered with SportsBug to introduce a first-of-its-kind, real-time play-by-play streaming experience for Oregon home games, beginning with the football season opener and extending to men's and women's basketball and baseball. Fans stream the Learfield broadcast with less than one second of delay through the Oregon Sports Network app. The relationship was subsequently renewed.
